 This is a manual fuel
petcock I got at Lowes. I mounted it with zipties, using a piece
of rubber hose around the frame to prevent it from turning when I reach
up under the side panel to turn the gas on and off. The rubber
block lowers the petcock enough so it isn't the "high point" in the
fuel line, keeping the gas tank from draining completely, and also
serves to
keep the fuel ine off of the hot frame to prevent vaporlock. The
fuel filter is a NAPA Gold #3011.
 I drilled 3 dozen
5/16" holes in the front of the air cleaner housing by the seat hinge,
where cool air can be drawn in. I also put a couple of hose
clamps around the intake hose from the stock airbox to the carb.
They help maintain the shape of the hose for better air flow. The
more rigid hose also helps support some of the weight of the carburetor.
 The CVT wasn't getting
enough air to keep it from overheating, even with the plug and filter
removed from the front of the rubber snorkel. I cut off the snorkel and
installed a window screen over the front of the air intake(left).
I cut the 90o bend off the outlet of the muffler and drilled
six 5/16" holes in the back plate, inside the housing. I ground
off rough
seam welds inside the pipe with a
dremel, and also from inside both ends of the header pipe.
 My Garmin
GPS is mounted on the dash with velcro. The rubber bumpers support the
front of the GPS unit and keep it stabile, so it's both secure and
readable while going down the road.
